WT-P is a high-activity coal-based granular activated carbon engineered for municipal, industrial, and laboratory wastewater treatment. Manufactured from select bituminous coal through carbonization and high-temperature steam activation, it delivers an iodine adsorption value exceeding 1000 mg/g with a specific surface area above 1000 m²/g.
The granular structure is optimized for fixed-bed operation in biological and physical wastewater treatment trains. With low moisture content, controlled ash, and high mechanical strength, WT-P withstands the demanding hydraulic conditions of sewage treatment— including backwashing, variable organic loading, and extended service cycles—while maintaining consistent adsorption performance for COD reduction and organic contaminant removal.
